Rev. Cecelia Faith Gordon Jenkins, the daughter of  Thelma Gordon and the late Richard Gordon, is a native and current resident of Hollywood, SC. After graduating from Baptist Hill High School in Hollywood, South Carolina, she went on to earn her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. Most recently, Rev. Jenkins earned her Master of Divinity degree with a concentration in care and counseling from Columbia International University. 

Rev. Jenkins is married to Bro. Lionel Jenkins, Sr, and they have two adult children, Posha J. Ravenel and Lionel D. Jenkins, Jr., and four beautiful grandchildren – Dallas, Quantez Jr. Dakota, and Wesley.

Before accepting her call to ministry,  Rev. Jenkins served in many capacities at her home church, St. Luke AME Church in downtown Hollywood.  Most notably, she was minister of music for over 40 years.  In addition, she brings over 25 years of experience in the field of accounting and currently works at Aqua Blue Pools as an accounting specialist.

Rev. Jenkins was ordained an itinerant elder in the 160th session of the South Carolina Annual Conference on September 15, 2023. On November 11, 2023, Rev. Jenkins received her first appointment as the servant pastor of Greater Calvary AME Church in Jacksonboro. It was not because of anything she had done but because of His own purpose and grace and she is profoundly grateful for what God has done in her life. 

Rev. Jenkins has a heart to serve God’s people and believes with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)  She is excited to work collectively with her church family to ensure everyone is using their God given gifts to develop a strong spiritual church body.  She is passionate about the church becoming a beacon of hope in the community as they uplift and help their neighbors.
